The perfect drink for a crisp fall evening while sitting on the porch contemplating life.
  • ½ cup Splenda
  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 3 whole star anise or 10 whole cloves - Badia packets of whole spices are .99 cents
  • 4 cups Ocean Spray Light or Diet Cranberry Juice - the Splenda sweetened one
  • A medium fresh orange or tangerine
  1. Combine Splenda, cinnamon sticks and whole cloves with 2 cups of water in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add cranberry juice, cut orange in half, squeeze into pot and toss in the rinds, reduce heat and simmer ten minutes. Strain into mugs and serve.
