With a little research, homework, and a look at the sale flyer for your local supermarket, you CAN enjoy appropriate delicious items from the website, which are PERFECT for us.

This morning as I walked into my local Meijer, I thought it might be time for another supermarket challenge. 5 meals (some with leftovers), all perfect for one or two people. and all under $35 total. I sat down and had a look at the sale flyer and the website, to see what would be a good variety of recipes for the week, for a reasonable price. Here’s what I am making:

List in hand, i set out. I did not purchase seasonings for these recipes, but the rest of the ingredients are in my cart. Some of the ingredients( like the eggs, kale, arugula, peppers, cheese, and garlic) will hold for other recipes, so that’s a bonus!!!
As the cashier rang up my items, I was pleased to see that I WAS under.
