I am a hopeless romantic when it comes to the proverbial New Year’s Resolution. The premise of starting over with a freshly washed chalkboard works in so many parts of life. I welcome the opportunity to rinse the 2015 mud off my high heels with a little champagne at midnight and celebrate the beautiful new beginning that 2016 brings.
What I know for sure is that there is strength in numbers and accountability is key. Many of us are in need of support and my hope that if you are struggling with weight gain or have slipped off the clearly marked path, that you will take our help in finding your way back.
Join the BariatricEating Support Group on Facebook. We have an incredible team who have stories of triumph over the same issues you believe you uniquely face.
We all know that with bariatric surgery we are ‘supposed to’ make good choices and take our supplements – but life gets in the way and when we finally look up, we can be so lost we don’t know where to start.
Let’s find or make a way back together! Surgery is not the easy way out – not when I was new and certainly not fifteen years later. Our team has shepherded thousands back down the scale and even to goals they never reached the first time. We have done it ourselves! Let’s ROCK 2016. Happy New Year!
