I am not sure as to the year of this publication, but I am quite certain it is in the 1960’s and that someday I will recall it vividly in past life regressions. Thank goodness we no longer do this to our little girls – I am sure there are men with tales of equally as sensitive school shopping adventures in the Husky Department with their mother. I pose the following for discussion – is Chubby a worse name than Husky and which one has the most lasting long-term effects?
It is shocking that the ad really does say that they have clothes for girls and teens ‘too CHUBBY to fit into regular sizes’… and what marketing genius it was to point out that there was no extra charge that for all that extra material. No wonder we are all in therapy!
