We started a Protein Party Frenzy with last weeks suggestions. So we’ve created another 8 Even More Brilliant Ways you can easily blend Inspire and PURE Unflavored protein powders into the foods you eat.
Make a High Protein Vegetable Soup using 1 cup of V8 or tomato juice as a convenient base for 1 tablespoon of PURE Unflavored protein powder. Go with a chunky Gazpacho vibe and add diced cucumber, sweet pepper and basil to the bowl, season with sea salt, pepper, a drop of Tabasco if yours like. Serve chilled and dig in to satisfy a salt craving.
Italian Lentil Soup. Add PURE to hot soup by first liquifying 1 tablespoon of PURE with 1 tablespoon water in a cup. Heat 1 cup Progresso Lentil soup, remove from heat and stir in the liquid PURE. Even though it has virtually no smell or no flavor its best to use in small amounts so it won’t change the taste or texture of small bariatric portions. Go heavy handed with the protein rich Parmesan cheese to kick it up a notch. Yummo!
Red Sauce with Ricotta is my favorite food. Go Italian and blend PURE into warmed pasta sauce. Serve in a small dish or cup with a scoop of ricotta, fresh basil and shaved Parmesan cheese.
Make Italian Egg Drop Soup. Simmer 1 cup Swanson’s Natural Goodness chicken broth. Beat a large egg with 2 tablespoons parmesan and 2 tablespoons PURE. Slowly pour the egg mixture into the hot broth, give it a stir for just a minute while the egg cooks. It’s not very pretty but it is tasty!
Blend PURE Unflavored protein powder into Greek yogurt or sour cream that you add to your Chili or Naked Taco Salad.
Super Chicken Salad. Whisk 1 tablespoon of PURE into 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt and 1 teaspoon Hellmann’s Light Mayonnaise to moisten your super high protein chicken, egg, tuna or shrimp salad. Add chopped celery, almonds and grapes for extra flavor
