In my post op world, a carrier is anything that carries your food from your plate up to your mouth. A fork or even better yet, a SPOON are the zero calorie answers to the million dollar question:
HOW DO I EAT HUMMUS WITHOUT PITA CHIPS?
*Instead of pita chips, use crisp apple slices, sweet mini bell peppers, or romaine leaves. Boom. The Vegetables are your Hummus Carrier.
How do I eat Tacos without a shell?
*Instead of a tortilla, put your taco fixins in a bowl… seasoned beef, tomatoes, shredded iceberg lettuce, Jack cheese, drizzle with taco sauce and eat it with a fork! The Fork is your Taco Carrier.
How do I make a Sandwich?
*Instead of bread, roll your turkey with a sliver of Swiss cheese and a dab of mustard and serve with a few San Marzano tomatoes. The Rollup is your Turkey Carrier.
