How to Make the MOST Out of Your Weight Loss Support Group.
This is something I missed my first round and is a HUGE reason behind my 150 pound regain....TRUST ME you can have medical issues but the only way to regain is to eat too much food. Stop thinking you didn't eat a lot while you were gaining or regaining. But that? Is another post.
Here's the deal.
If you make a post asking for help with your weight loss? TAKE THE ADVICE YOU ARE GIVEN AND THINK IT OVER.
Don't clap back when someone who is AT GOAL AND NEVER HAD A REGAIN tells you what tweaks to make. Cause if your "Nutritionist approved the meals..." but you are posting for tips on how to speed up weight loss? We're going to think you want HELP.
We are a different group than ANY on the planet. WHY? Cause we actually are success stories in here.
We took the advice of people who had been there and changed their meals, their habits and their thinking and realized that OUR eating habits were why we gained to the point of needing Stomach Removal surgery. OUR habits are why we didn't get to goal. OUT habits caused our regain.
In short...if you want help, we help MILLIONS daily. In our Successful Facebook Groups. We can help you. But please start by using your time wisely when you are there.
And as a reminder:
- It's OK to not want to be a size 0.
- It's OK to Regain.
- It's OK to not make it to Goal.
- Be PROUD of who you are and love the body you have if that's what you want.
Keep in mind though, that:
It's NOT ok to sit back and complain about those things in any group if you don't want actually to change them.
SUPPORT is here. If you ask for it, you will get it here. It may not be what you expect, but it will be what you need. If you want VALIDATION for your reasons to NOT change, we may not be the group you need at this point. And that's ok too.
