Place this dish on the family table and watch them dig in - these seasoned drumsticks are moist juicy and so much easier to eat than chicken breast for someone with bariatric surgery.
Pair with a tomato-cucumber salad and a Ranch dipping sauce. Yum.
6 chicken legs, no skin
1 cup milk
1/4 cup hot sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Preheat air fryer as per directions - I used the 390 setting. If using a convection toaster oven, preheat to 400 degrees.
- Place the chicken in a large plastic bag or bowl, add the milk, hot sauce, salt, garlic powder, and paprika - close bag to marinate for 30 to 60 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator. Remove from liquid and dry with paper towels.
- Arrange in the air fryer basket. (or on Pam-sprayed baking sheet) and air fry or bake until golden, 15 to 17 minutes.
