We all love an Italian Sub... or Ham & Swiss... or Turkey with Avocado... those flavor combinations sing!

Making a lettuce wrap is nothing new, but it is a fine way to eat deli meats without all those bread carbs and needs to be repeated often.

We know you guys are sneaking bread. Try this and surprise yourself with a ten pound loss for this next 30 days.

A simple lunch or summer supper idea is to fold an iconic combination of meats into a big lettuce leaf. You make a packet. It's crunchy, savory, very low in carbs to keep you full longer and not messy at all. It is like wrapping a flat box as a birthday gift with lettuce instead of wrapping paper.

Lay your lettuce flat on the cutting board, sometimes I will tile more than one piece overlapping slightly, then add some ham, tomato slices, avocado, salt and pepper, a smear of the Homemade Hidden Valley Ranch Dip I make with Greek Yogurt. Fold it over itself into a packet.
