Once it is fork tender, remove dish to cutting board and carefully scrape into strands using a fork.

Top with marinara sauce, parmesan cheese, or even just a pat of butter with salt and pepper.

Is it spaghetti? No, but its a delicious vegetable side dish or a lovely bottom of the bowl for a ladle of our delicious Sloppy Joes, Shrimp Marinara, or Inspire Italian Ragu or Taco Time!

For a beautiful and slightly fancier dish that you can make and serve in the shell of the squash, toss with sauce, top with cheese and bake until melted.
